Founder & Managing Partner
A visionary leader born into construction, Dimitri Sevastos built Optimus Group on the foundation of quality, trust, and execution. From humble beginnings with Optimus Primers, Dimitri transformed a specialty painting company into a full-service General Contracting and Construction Management firm serving NYC and surrounding areas Dimitri’s expertise spans high-end residential, commercial interiors, hospitality, and retail. He has led projects for notable clients including BOA, Chase, Wells Fargo, Santander, Hilton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, Sugared + Bronzed, big box retailers and large-scale multifamily developers. His philosophy, “Finish as the frontline,” emphasizes the importance of detail, craftsmanship, and accountability — values that have become the backbone of Optimus Group. Outside of the business, Dimitri is deeply embedded in community and philanthropic work, notably as a Long Island Fight for Charity participant and committee member, where he uses his platform to give back. Balancing entrepreneurial drive with a strong commitment to team culture, Dimitri’s long-term vision is to scale Optimus Group to $100M + in revenue while keeping a boutique, client-first approach at its core.

Joseph Lopardo
Executive Account Manager & Managing Partner
Joseph Lopardo serves as Executive Account Manager at Optimus Group, overseeing existing client relationships, project execution, and back-of-house coordination. With years of experience in managing commercial and residential projects across the New York metro area, Joseph brings a structured yet personable approach to client care. At Optimus Group, Joseph ensures that projects run smoothly from preconstruction through close-out, handling budgets, schedules, and communication with ownership. His ability to balance technical oversight with client service makes him a trusted point of contact for property managers, architects, and design teams. Joseph is also part of Optimus Group’s core leadership team, helping shape growth strategy and operational systems. His deep knowledge of construction logistics and his dedication to building strong client partnerships reflect Optimus Group’s commitment to long-term success.

Mark Montalvo
Director Of Construction & Managing Partner
As DOC of Optimus Group, Mark Montalvo brings decades of hands-on construction and leadership experience to the team. His background includes building and managing high-end retail, community housing, hospitality, and medical projects, where he is known for driving operational efficiency and delivering consistent results. Mark has overseen multimillion-dollar builds throughout New York City and Long Island, managing field operations, subcontractor coordination, and quality control. He is adept at bridging the gap between ownership expectations and on-site execution, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard. At Optimus Group, Mark’s role focuses on scaling operations, mentoring field staff, and instilling best practices across all divisions. Jason Zingales
Senior Project Executive & Managing Partner
Jason Zingales is a seasoned construction professional with a background in architecture and more than 20 years of industry experience. His portfolio includes over $1 billion worth of real estate projects across New York City, ranging from luxury condominiums and hospitality spaces to charter schools, affordable housing, and retail developments. Jason’s unique architectural foundation allows him to interpret complex design documents and seamlessly translate them into field execution. Known for his ability to bridge the gap between architects, subcontractors, and ownership, Jason ensures projects are delivered with precision and creativity. At Optimus Group, Jason plays a key role in expanding the firm’s portfolio into larger CM/GC roles, leveraging his relationships with developers and design teams. His experience in orchestrating large-scale builds, combined with a sharp focus on detail, positions him as a driving force in Optimus Group’s continued growth.
